Meet Mrs. Aday
I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten at Roosevelt School!
I attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and graduated with a B.A. in English Literature and a certification in Elementary Education (K-6). I earned a Master's Degree through Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. This will be my 13th year teaching in River Edge.
I am originally from Westwood, NJ but now live in Park Ridge, NJ. I have a daughter & a son.
Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. When I have free time, I like to read, goto the beach, and go shopping. My husband is from Dallas, Texas so we travel there often to visit family and celebrate holidays. I have always enjoyed working with students and had the desire to teach ever since I was young. I have been a babysitter, camp counselor, cheerleading coach, tutor, and a head teacher at a daycare facility prior to becoming a certified elementary school teacher.
Teaching is my passion, and kindergarten is my favorite grade level!
"We teach what we like to learn and the reason so many people go into teaching is vicariously to re-experience the primary joy experienced the first time they learned something they loved." ~Stephen Brookfield
